OSBIT Power

OSBIT Power (OP) is a Northumberland based independent company staffed by a team of experienced engineers. OP provides innovative engineering solutions in many offshore markets with particular emphasis on offshore wind.

OP has developed new technology for improving the transfer of people and equipment between support vessels and offshore wind turbines. The aim is to provide greater safety, and increase the range of weather conditions where safe transfer can be achieved.

OP’s MaXccess system has recently undergone offshore trials with Siemens Wind Power and Statoil demonstrating its performance in a range of conditions.

OP is continuing the North East's successful tradition of engineering solutions for the offshore sectors by applying over 30 years of OP owners' experience in oil and gas, submarine telecom, defence and offshore renewables.

OP is currently developing an exciting portfolio of Marine Access systems for a wide variety of applications including DP vessels and cruise ships.
